Heating tobacco versus smoking cigarettes

 

Heating tobacco with IQOS eliminates many of the inconveniences associated with smoking cigarettes. The HeatControl Technology heats tobacco up from the inside.

 

How does the IQOS tobacco heater work? It is an electronic device equipped with a special blade heater. At a specific temperature, tobacco is not burning but produces aerosol which contains nicotine. Another important aspect is the design of HEETS tobacco sticks. The system can entirely substitute common cigarettes.

 

 

IQOS – duration

 

The device has a precisely programmed timer for heating tobacco sticks. The battery supplies energy for one or two heating sessions (depending on the IQOS model). It lasts about 6 minutes. After it is started, the device needs to warm up, so before you inhale for the first time, wait for the control LED to go off. From this moment on, you have 6 minutes or 14 inhalations. Note that everyone inhales differently, so the heating time may differ from one IQOS user to another. The duration of smoking also depends on the smoker. Heaters have been designed for sessions to last as long as it takes to smoke a cigarette.
