What do status lights on your IQOS ILUMA PRIME Holder mean?
Here’s a short guide that will help you understand the meaning of status lights on your Holder:
- Pulsing white lights:
A) They mean that your Holder is preheating a tobacco stick,
B) They are informing you that your experience is going to end shortly. - Solid white lights after a short press of the Holder button:
These lights indicate the charge status of your device.
A) 2 illuminated lights – your Holder is ready for 2 uses.
B) 1 light – your Holder is ready for a single use. - Flashing red light:
A) Your device might need a RESET
B) Firmware update has not been successfully completed.

Your IQOS ILUMA PRIME needs to be charged.
What do status lights on your IQOS ILUMA PRIME Pocket Charger mean?
Here’s a short guide that will help you understand the meaning of status lights on your Pocket Charger:
- Pulsing white light:
Your Holder may be outside the appropriate temperature range (>0°C/<40°C). It is possible that it will be enough to cool it down or warm it up in your hands. - IQOS ILUMA PRIME lights are flashing red:
A) Round light – flashing on the Pocket Charger means low battery level of the Holder.
B) STRIP light – your device needs a RESET. Detailed information on how to properly RESET your IQOS ILUMA PRIME can be found here. - Light flashing yellow/orange:
Your IQOS ILUMA PRIME needs to be charged.
A 15-minute charging session should be enough for the yellow light to disappear. - Round lights pulsing white:
Your Holder is being charged. - Round lights glowing with a solid white light after a short press of the Pocket Charger button:
These lights indicate the charge status of your Holder:
A) 2 lights – 2 uses available,
B) 1 light – single use available. - Strip lights glowing solid white after a short press of the Pocket Charger button:
These lights indicate the charge status of your Pocket Charger:
A) 4 strip lights – the Pocket Charger is more than 75% charged,
B) 3 strip lights – the Pocket Charger is 50% - 75% charged,
C) 2 strip lights – the Pocket Charger is 25% - 50% charged,
D) 1 strip light – the Pocket Charger is less than 25% charged.
