First steps with your IQOS ILUMA PRIME

Your package has arrived? Excellent! Unpack it and check what’s inside:

1. IQOS ILUMA PRIME Holder 
   It is a device with two LEDs that will help you keep track of the overall status of your device and the number of available uses. 
2. IQOS ILUMA PRIME Pocket Charger
   This Pocket Charger features four LEDs that will help you to monitor the status of your device or the battery level. It also has two round LED lights to monitor the status of your Holder. There is also a charging port at the bottom of the Pocket Charger. 
3. Charging cable
4. Wall charger

IQOS ILUMA PRIME – first steps

How to start using your IQOS ILUMA PRIME? Here are a few steps that you should follow first:  

1. Turn on the device
   Turn on your IQOS ILUMA PRIME by pressing the power button on the Pocket Charger and holding it for 4 seconds. Release the button and the status lights on the Holder and the Pocket Charger will slowly turn on. This means that your IQOS ILUMA PRIME is ready to be used. Please note: if you do not release the button at an appropriate time, the device will RESET (you can find out more about how to RESET your device here).  
2. Charge the Holder
   You can check the Holder’s battery level using round lights located on the Holder.  
   • Two lights on the Holder indicate that the device may be used twice.
   • Each of these lights corresponds to a single available use.

Here is some information worth knowing about charging your IQOS ILUMA PRIME before its first use

You already know basic information about all of your IQOS ILUMA PRIME components? Now is the time to fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time:

1. Always use the official power adaptor and charging cable only.
   Charging your IQOS device with a laptop may interrupt the charging process.  
2. Make sure that the Holder is properly inserted into the Pocket Charger. You can find more information on how to charge your device in the “How to charge your IQOS ILUMA PRIME?” section.”
