Can I stop using a HEETS tobacco stick and continue consuming it later?
No, partially finished HEETS should not be re-used. Once finished, lift the cap before pulling out the tobacco stick. Do not twist. Tobacco sticks can be disposed of in regular bins.
How long does a HEETS tobacco stick last? How to make HEETS last longer?
On average the experience with IQOS™ is similar to one of cigarettes and can last up to 6 min or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. The way you puff impacts how long your HEETS will last.
Drawing gently and taking longer breaks between the puffs allow the blade properly to heat the tobacco and generate an aerosol. This would extend the duration of your experience and increase satisfaction with your HEETS™.
Can you light a tobacco stick with a match or a lighter?
No, HEETS has been specifically designed for use with IQOS. Tobacco sticks should never be lit with a match or lighter and are designed to only work with the IQOS™ Holder.
The electronic Holder heats and not burns the tobacco in the tobacco stick, therefore does not produce ash.
What to do if I put a tobacco stick the wrong way around in the holder?
If you accidentally insert a tobacco stick the wrong way around the holder, switch on the device to let the blade heat up to soften the filter and make it easy to remove without damaging your IQOS. Please remember to always pull up your car before removing the stick. If the problem couldn’t be resolved in this manner, then please contact an expert in an IQOS Store nearby.
What happens if a HEETS tobacco stick is heated in the IQOS Holder but I don't pull on it?
The heating phase of an IQOS device lasts a maximum of six minutes, after which it switches off automatically. During this time, you can pull on the HEETS tobacco stick. The possible duration of use always depends on individual consumption behavior. The more intensive the consumption (the drawing behavior), the shorter the duration of use.
If you do not take a drag on the tobacco stick, the IQOS device also switches off after approx. six minutes. The used HEETS tobacco stick can then no longer be used.
Why it is not possible to buy HEETS online?
Due to the Act of 9th November 1995 on Protection of Public Health against the Effects of Tobacco Use, remote sales of tobacco products is forbidden in Poland.
Where can I buy HEETS?
HEETS tobacco sticks can be purchased in locals stores and chains i.a. in Zabka, Inmedio, LIDL, Dino. You can also find our products at the gas stations (Orlen, Lotos, Circle K, BP).
When do HEETS expire?
HEETS do not have an expiry date. To make sure you’re always enjoying the best taste and experience, here are some storage tips to help preserve freshness: - Do not store HEETS in direct sunlight or expose them to humidity or humid weather conditions. - Make sure they are kept dry. Should you experience any inferior taste, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How to remove the stuck tobacco from the IQOS Holder?
If the tobacco plug is stuck in your cap, remove by gently tapping the cap on a hard surface to extract the tobacco plug, or by using a cleaning pin.
If you use the pin, simply push the rod outward from the bottom part of the cap.
To prevent this issue, please make sure to always lift up the cap before extracting the used tobacco stick.
What is the composition of the tobacco stick?
Tobacco sticks deliver tobacco taste when heated with IQOS Device.
Tobacco part consists of the carefully selected, finely ground and specially prepared tobacco that delivers the best taste while heating.
Non-tobacco part consists of:
• Protective wrap - holds the tobacco part of the stick and helps to heat tobacco, not burn it. The wrap is made of flame-retardant paper;
• Air-flow chamber - designed to hold the tobacco plug in place and transfer the aerosol to the cooling plug;
• Filter - made of cellulose acetate. Cellulose acetate is a bioplastic made of modified tree pulp cellulose. Cellulose acetate as commonly used in filters for tobacco products has the most efficient filtration properties. As material, cellulose acetate is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and weakly flammable;
• Cooling plug (otherwise known as PLA filter) - made of bio-based plastic made of corn. More specifically PLA is considered a ‘bioplastic’. PLA is also used in the medical, food and beverage industries. The PLA filter is designed to cool down the aerosol generated by the heating tobacco and turn it into an aerosol that is possible to be inhaled
According to the European Directive for Single-Use-Plastics, bioplastics are also considered plastics although they are not made of fossil-based polymers as conventional plastics are made of. PLA is a biodegradable polymer made from renewable resources such as corn starch, and it is a bioplastic.
What is the puffing time of tobacco stick?
Tobacco sticks are designed for the same duration and number of puffs as cigarettes.
