How to best maintain your IQOS ILUMA?

Do you want to maintain your IQOS ILUMA device in the best possible condition? Here’s a short list of things that you can do:

1. Always keep your IQOS ILUMA device fully charged to never miss an experience.
2. Store your device in an appropriate environment. Avoid places that are too dry and too humid. Keep it away from liquids and heat sources.
3. Remember that your IQOS ILUMA works best at a temperature between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. If temperature is outside these thresholds, status lights will notify you by flashing twice.
4. Use your IQOS ILUMA exclusively with TEREA tobacco sticks.
5. Update the firmware of your device regularly. You can do that on your own via the IQOS app. You can find more information about the app here.

What are smart gestures offered by your IQOS ILUMA?

Modern, advanced and smart functions offered by your IQOS ILUMA will help you use the device in an optimal and comfortable way.

Here’s a list of smart gestures available in IQOS ILUMA:

1. Autostart
   Once a TEREA stick is inserted, your Holder starts heating it automatically. This function is enabled by default. Do you want to disable it? Use the IQOS app.

2. Lifting the device
   Allows you to check the number of remaining experiences. The said number is indicated by one or two lights that will start glowing when you lift your Holder. Even when it is not in use.
3. Double tap 
   Do you want to find out how much time you have remaining until your experience ends? All you have to do is double tap the Holder while using your IQOS ILUMA and it will start to vibrate:
   A) 3 vibrations: 75-50%,
   B) 2 vibrations: 50-25%, 
   C) 1 vibration: <25%.

Smart gestures can be easily enabled and disabled via the IQOS app.
You can also adjust certain device parameters, such as light intensity and vibrations.
