How to update IQOS ILUMA firmware?

We will tell you how to update the firmware of your device step by step.

It can be done using 3 different methods: 

1. via a USB cable, 
2. via a computer application, 
3. by connecting an Android device via a USB cable. 

How to update the firmware of your IQOS by connecting it to your computer via a USB cable? Follow these steps:

1. Fully charge the battery and turn on the device.
2. Insert the IQOS Holder into the Pocket Charger and plug the USB cable into the device. 
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer. 
4. Check for available updates. 
5. Start the update process and follow instructions. 
6. Unplug the cable after the update process is completed.

Please note that during the firmware update you will be asked to disconnect and reconnect your IQOS ILUMA several times. This is normal during that process. Follow the instructions to successfully perform the update.

How to update the firmware of your IQOS via the IQOS app?

Simply click “Start IQOS App” and select the connection option (USB or Bluetooth).
