What is a TEREA tobacco stick and what are its component?

TEREA tobacco sticks were designed for use exclusively with IQOS ILUMA. The unique SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology ensures better draw, fresh taste with each use, more vapour* and less unpleasant smell than in the case of cigarettes.

Each stick consists of:

• Heating element:
  It is a modern, innovative metal heating element coated in stainless steel. It is placed inside the tobacco stick for seamless heating of tobacco.
• Tobacco part:
  It is a carefully selected, finely ground and specially prepared tobacco blend.
• Front filter:
  It keeps your IQOS ILUMA Holder clean, preventing the accumulation of tobacco residue inside the device. Additionally, it makes it easier to insert and remove the tobacco stick.
• Airflow chamber:
  It ensures that just the right amount of vapour passes through the stick for a satisfying and easy draw.  
• Cooling plug:
  It cools down the vapour temperature. It’s made of cellulose acetate, which allows to effectively cool down vapour.
• Protective wrap:
  Our new protective paper wrap keeps all tobacco stick components together. It also helps maintain an aesthetic appearance after its use.
• Filter:
  This is the part of the TEREA stick that goes in your mouth. 

How to properly use TEREA sticks?

All TEREA sticks are intended to be used exclusively with devices from the IQOS ILUMA series.

IQOS ILUMA products and TEREA tobacco sticks should not be used with previous versions of IQOS devices, as this may damage them.

TEREA sticks in IQOS ILUMA – step by step user guide

1. Place a TEREA stick inside the IQOS ILUMA Holder.
2. Make sure that the TEREA logo is pointed up.
3. Is the stick inserted correctly? This is where the heating of tobacco in the TEREA stick begins.
4. Each experience with an IQOS ILUMA will last up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs (whichever occurs first).
5. A fully charged battery is enough for two consecutive uses of the IQOS ILUMA device.
6. Is the heating process finished? Wait until the TEREA tobacco stick cools down. Remove it from the Holder and dispose of it to an appropriate waste container, as per applicable waste disposal regulations, i.e. to a mixed waste container.

Remember:

TEREA sticks are intended for single use only. They should never be re-used or lit with a match, lighter or any other flame source.

Store your TEREA sticks in a clean, dry and cool place. So that you can always fully enjoy your tobacco experience.
