Can the tobacco sticks be lit using matches or a lighter?

No, the tobacco sticks have been designed for use exclusively with the IQOS heater. Tobacco sticks should under no circumstances be lit with matches or a lighter. The electronic cigarette heater does not burn the tobacco in the stick, it only heats it up and therefore does not produce ash.

What is the heating time?

With the IQOS device, the average heating time is comparable to that of smoking a cigarette and lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs - depending on use. Heating time depends on your way of inhaling. Gentle enlistment and longer intervals between enlistments allow the tobacco to warm up well and generate aerosol. This will extend the time of use and increase satisfaction with the heating process.

Why can't I buy tobacco refills online?

As stated in the Act of 9 November 1995 on the Protection of Health from the Consequences of Tobacco, distance selling of tobacco products is prohibited in Poland.

Why is the taste of tobacco sticks different from cigarettes?

The taste of tobacco sticks differs from the taste of cigarettes because in IQOS the tobacco is heated and not burnt. By heating the tobacco, its true flavour is released. The tobacco cartridges are made from a specially selected blend of tobacco delivering the true taste of tobacco.
